Features & Info

What you'll need:

Your Camera and lenses. The tour and instruction is designed around SLR cameras, but any camera that allows control over the aperture and shutter speed will work.  A Tripod is a must as slow shutter speeds are usually the norm for waterfall photography. Spare batteries and memory cards. Good, supportive footwear that you won't mind getting dirty or wet.  Food / Snacks.  Please bring a lunch and water.

The photographer's responsibility

You must be comfortable on a sometimes uneven trail surface. Although none of the waterfalls is farther than a half mile from parking the access is sometimes on a small, sloped trail. You must provide your own transportation to Brevard and to the meeting locations.  If possible we will consolidate and carpool from there as parking is limited at some of the locations. Lodging is your responsibility. Brevard has a large variety of places to stay. Food.  You must provide your own. There are several excellent restaurants in the area for dinner. Photography Equipment of any sort.  You are expected to have your own camera, lenses, tripod, memory cards and anything else you feel you’ll need.
